Coronado Speed Festival

This show is Awesome ! All kinds of racing through the day from pre 41 up to 72 can am & trans am cars. This is part of Fleet Week at North Island, I rarely get to sit down here, lots to see & do.

Racing goes on ALL Day Sat & Sun. The car show is also on both days, but we go as a group on Sunday, they have 2 trophies per class on Sunday and AMC is a class ! How many open shows do that !

I met up with Steve, I believe this is where I met John Caley too (completely original 68 survivor), he came down from the North of San Clemente, and the other 70 I lost the info on, sorry.

Richard showed up later and had to park a row over. He was fine with that, we still got to cruise around.

Danielle showed up sometime too, I do not remember if she put her little red Rambler next to me first, or if it was the other 70, but I was glad she made it. I met Danielle at Cruisin Grand, she loves to cruise it up & down Grand, she could afford to, that little 4 banger does not use much gas !

One of the nice things at this show is being able to walk the pit areas, seeing these RW&B Beauties is Awesome & watching them race on the track is a Bigger Bonus !

Steve's Beauty got First Place AMC, which means he got to take it out for a Victory lap on the track ! How Cool is that ! I got a second place plaque, that was cool too !

A father & son put this car back on the road as a project, they were excited about it too, but didn't really have time for the club thing, I've only seen them a few times since this meeting, and I'm sorry I can't remember their names....memory is something I was not given, that's why I have BBG, so I can find it.
