Cruisin' Grand

I was hoping for 3 Machines, 2 SC/Ramblers, 5 AMX's, and 2 Javelins....but being Friday night, the time to get here after work for people, and some car issues, we only ended up with 5 cars. But 2 Machines together is ALWAYS COOL to me. Doug has the RW&B Machine, he also has a SC/Rambler, but his son couldn't make it, and he could only bring one car, Steve had his SC/Ramber. Here's Me, Mark, Doug, & Steve.

Mark brought his Red 69 AMX all the way down from Pomona for this! Doug's about 20mins away, Steve up from San Diego, Terry brought his Lime Met 70 AMX down the hill from Ramona, but he wasn't there for the pix.

I saw a little Rambler wagon cruisin' Grand, Steve ended up talking to the owner for awhile, but he didn't stay long and wasn't there long enough to bring his car over to park with us.

Dave showed up a little later, he has the other Machine but couldn't get it started....bummer....3 Machines would have been Awesome.... We ended up at the Avocado Grill for some chow, talked mostly AMC stuff, also about Dave and Doug's other cars. Walked Grand and checked out the cars, then it was time to call it a day !

The next day was a Mopar show, but everyone had plans. I slept in after a long week and drove over around 11 to check it out, plus try to blow some carbon out, Steve showed up late too to check it out, so we parked in the lot just above the show.

I guess we should have showed here, we only had a few chances to get shots of our cars, there were people crawling up the hill to check out our cars the whole time we were there ! I'll try next year !

June 28th 2013 Cruisin'Grand................................... I met Steve Fox, SC/Rambler, and Steve Dawson, 68 AMX at Cruisin' Grand. Beautiful day to take a walk and check out the cars. We found a spot on South Broadway to park.

My nephew Scott was in town and wanted to check it out, so the timing was right. We ran into Dave Baun, he frequents Grand, doesn't always bring a car, even though he has at least 20 !

Here's Steve, Steve, Dave, & Scott checking out a Rambler Wagon we came across, don't see many any more. We usually eat at the Avocado Grill, so I figure that's what we did....just a casual evening !
