Motor Cars on Main Street

John S. met me in Escondido & We cruised to San Diego & met up with Steve, Stu, & Richard by the Bay. We met Stacey on the Freeway to Coronado.

What a Beautiful Day it was ! Nice little breeze blowing to keep the temp bearable. We got to park up front at an angle off the curb, Lots of attention to our old orphans ! The same photographer was there that took the main photo to this site ( http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/ ) & I'm sure his site has a few pix from it.

The show seemed a little smaller then last year, but they had just as many Awesome cars ! There was a Beauty of a big Nash & a Rambler too (pix). This was the Show last year that I finally got to sit in the new Camaro, I ordered mine the next Day !

John & I walked two blocks to the beach, what a beautiful area, I'd take ANY house we walked by, & the houses that were facing the Ocean are unbelievable.....I hate those people !

Anyhow, our 6 cars looked great sitting in a row, we can't compete with real show cars, but we had just as many Q's & gawkers as they did ! We don't need no stinking trophies ! It was a nice day with friends.
