Burger Run
January 10, 2010
We had 12 cars here ! We had a lot of people awestruck over our AMC's, there were around 500 cars at this show.
Stu is a member of the “Country Gentsâ€, a car club who's Prez is the one who started this in like 1987 by meeting a few friends at this Burger joint and each year grew to what it is now, the first show of the Year !
First is Tom Delaneys 70 Jav, and Chuck Braddy's 70 AMX
Stacy's CLEAN 72 Ambo Wagon, Stu's MEAN 69 AMX
Robert's 70 AMX, Steve's CLEAN 68 AMX
Randy's (me) 70 BBG, Allen's self Restored 71 Jav/AMX
John's Beautiful Blue 69 AMX, Dave & Kati's 69 AMX
Terry's survivor 70 AMX, and our Presedente's (Mark's) 69 AMX
Besides an AMC show, this seems to be where we get our biggest group, we let'm know that AMC survives !
Like I said, this is a pretty big show, it takes hours to check out all the cars. Here's another AMX on the show field, seen it a few times but the owner is not interested in cruizin' with us....oh well....
The show is on 6 blocks and in 4 parking lots, lots of places to eat, lots of great people to talk to, and Millions of dollars worth of steel everywhere.
Chuck got “Best Orphan Carâ€, Nice ! There are maybe 20 trophies for this show, all hand made, and hard to come by, it's kind of an honor to get one here....I know, as are all shows, but more so here. Most shows do not acknowledge AMC, and we appreciate the ones that do !
After the show, some of us headed to Tom's house for a BBQ, it's like 2 miles from the show. It was a Beautiful January Day !
