In front of the info booth were these two beauties, talk about your own class !

Also these two....My, that 34 is PURDY ! (and it's for sale too)
And an Awesome Hudson !

Four Convertibles in this class, very nice too, but the red one, WoW, looks like it just came off the showroom floor !

Took all day to drop fliers, judge, & take pix....not to mention checking out the swap meet earlier. Ended up being a long day, I don't think I sat down till the show was over, except for lunch.
Cleaned up & had dinner after the show, then went to the trophy presentation where all the Beautiful cars got awards....almost all....

John wasn't feeling well & crashed early, so Richard, who was in Frisco that week, came all the way over to pick up John's trophy ! What a guy !....we haven't seen him since....so don't tell John he won anything....

Does Steve look blurry ? Sorry Steve, but Congrats on another trophy for that beautiful SC/Rambler !

I'm lucky to get a trophy in this class, the four SC's were awesome, my advantage was having the only Machine, and the only other Rebel was the wagon.
Hell, I'll take it !

Dale had had a few, and didn't know what the hell a hard luck trophy was, we had to push him to go get it !
1. We left the San Diego area, and he was blowing oil when we ran over 65, so we took it easy.
2. He blew out his air shocks & had to buy a kit in Lone Pine to repair them. That's the price for big tires !
3.He couldn't open his trunk the next morning, so he had to buy more oil, since his was locked in the trunk.
4. He had to punch out the lock and break into the trunk, so he could loan his spare alternator to sue, so she could continue the trip....nappa didn't have one.
Dale said it's not a trophy he wants to be awarded, but haven't we all ? At some point in time ? These baby's of ours are a few years old now !

Our buddy from Bakersfield has won more then a few trophies for that beautiful Gremlin !
He & his son built an Awesome ride !
I consider Don part of our group, so these were the five trophies WE got!

Another return run home, Dale & Carol, John, and Cindy & I. Everyone leaves at different times, so we left together. We did end up stopping in Virginia City, had breakfast, & shopped a little. Dale & Carol and Cindy & I stayed at Lone Pine (or something pine), and did a two day home, John made a one day run home....Long week !

Saw this lady sitting by the water, Beautiful, isn't she !?!
