“SOCALAMX ALL AMC SHOW”

I couldn't get a good shot of the show field, so this will have to do. 34 cars registered for the show, a few No-Shows, but we had a good time. The Museum had some cool race cars & Hot Rods, but the 9 REAL AC Cobras were AWESOME ! I think I spent half an hour drooling on those things, I'm surprised they didn't throw me out....

We figured on getting there around 8:30am, so we took it easy on the way up. I met with Dale, John S., & Allen for the drive, of course we stopped at Micky D's for breakfast on the way !

Awesome trophies ! 16 in all, 5 classes, cups for 1st place, plaques for 2nd & 3rd, & an even bigger cup for Best of Show !

Some of our group kik'n back. It was a beautiful day, a little warm in the sun, but awesome weather for the show.

The club is SoCalAMX, so I had to have a shot of the AMX row, missing are the 3 stock AMX's in another row.

Stacy & I had the only 2 AMC's in the Show, so it's no surprise we got 1st & 2nd place.

Every nut & bolt was taken off this car & he did his own rotisserie rebuild ! All painted White, then Red & Blue, built 390, with a little more punch then stock....Beautiful car....

Here are ALL the Winners, the names are above in the classes, you'll have to place the cars to the names. A small show, but half the cars drove off with a trophy ! It's always nice to get a little pat on the back, not too many shows where an AMC gets a trophy.
We had a nice raffle just before the trophy presentation.

A few of us had dinner after the show, a mini meeting for next years show, and a place to relax a little after all the work & planning going into the show.
