Cruisin' Grand Fundraiser

John S., Allen, Richard W. & I pre-reg'd for this show, John ended up sick & couldn't make it, but Richard F. emailed & said he was coming. The four of us met up at McD's in Escondido, while there, Dom called and said he was up the street, Dale also called and was almost there too, so all of a sudden we had six cars !

We cruized' up Grand about 8:30 and it was pretty full, but we ended up on Broadway & parked together. We registered, bs'ed, looked around, then I headed out for a walk through the show. By the time I got back it was lunch time, so we ate, then walked a bit, watched the trophy presentation, there were some real show cars here, very nice

It's awesome having an AMC group at a show, it makes people take notice, by yourself, people always have the usual comments, I had, my uncle had, my parents had, etc., but a group really makes them check it out.
This little Metropolitan was all alone, didn't see the owner, cute car.

We met the owner of this soon to be rat rod, he's building it for his daughter. I think it has a chevy 350 in it.
I would say there had to be 400+ cars here, some amazing steel !
