Dr. George Car Show

I met up with John for the drive, it was cloudy and looking like rain, but we were going !
Once we got past the mountains, it was SUNNY, beautiful all day there. You could see the clouds trying to pass the mountains, but it wasn't happening.

My guesstimate was around 700 cars, less then last year, probably because of the weather. I was passing out Cruisin' Grand flyers, so I saw EVERY car there, it took a few hours.
John & I were able to park quickly & grabbed something to eat before I walked the show, his knee was bad & took it easy. When I got back, he said a lot of people were checking out our cars, I had my for sale sign out, but no takers....

We had the only AMC's, but there were a few Ramblers. I took some pix, but two of them didn't come out, this one did with the monster motor in it.

I met Bob & Yvonne down our row. Bob has this sweet Metropolitan, but Yvonne is a Mopar girl, one being a 69 Road Runner, she wants to go to Spring Fling, so I guess they can put the Metro in the trunk ! I told them about the Phoenix Cactus Classic, but it's the same weekend as Spring Fling, so I'll see them there....or maybe at the Vegas Reunion. Nice People !

Lots of food vendors, lots of raffle prizes, nice drive, good show.
The drive home got REAL cloudy & REAL windy, but we didn't hit any rain.
