Borrego Desert Car Show

I met up with Steve in Ramona for this beautiful drive, wooded hills, windy roads, & nice weather, even when we dropped into the Desert, it wasn't too bad.
This is a small open show, bring whatever. They had a parade at the start of it, & the car show attendees got to participate, which we did !

Only 37 cars in the show, so we parked & I cruiz'd around the fair area, food & whatever, like a small street fair, plus the shade in those areas was nice. Big palms, when the shade from them moved....so did I, about ten times !

They had ten car trophys & one for bikes, and I got one ! That was pretty cool ! I was the only AMC'er without a trophy at the Oddball car show last week, so this made up for it !

The guy running the show told me about the sculptor who has animal & dinosaur welded sculptures throughout the area, we saw lots coming into the area, but he said we had to see the dragon that crosses the road, and is 20 feet high ! And this pic does it NO JUSTICE !

These sculptures are amazing, I would have taken pix of more if we had left by the same route, lots of cool horses & dino's !
