Spring Fling

I was expecting more AMC's here, but we had 8....well, we had 7, and there was a Machine there as well. The owner is into racing, as well as his friends, not really an AMC'er, but definitely into his Machine. Great guys though.

This is a great show, and lots of Beautiful cars ! There's a big swapmeet, though 99% of it is Mopar, bit if there's an AMC part there, Allen would find it !

The Machine isn't finished, cosmetically, far as I can remember, looks like all it needs is the stripe kit and decals, she's a Beauty.

It's maybe a 2 1/2 hour for me, they have an AMX class, it's on the grass (mostly), and it's a pretty decent park. The drive could be better, but it's still driving my AMX, so it's O.K. !

This is the car I just saw at the Good Guy Show in Del Mar, and this is the only shot I got without a crowd around it. Robert has a lot of time and money into this Beauty, and it shows. It will also tackle any road you want, I'm not sure if there is any AMC left in the suspension. A Crowed Pleaser !

El Presidente' Mark's 69, his first car, with 5 speed & wilwoods around ! Plus fuel injection on order !

Hobie's 70 he bought last year, another Beauty, a show car with some Nice mods.

Shelby brings his Pacer Wagon here, he live's north from here, so I don't see him much, a great guy, and he loves his car ! and for some reason, I picture him driving a Mustang....don't know why....

John's Beautiful 69, unfortunately, he found a gouge in the passenger fender when he got home....and he had just put his hood back on for this show, it needed repairs and painting, as well as his driver fender from a wheelchair scratch at another show.

My baby ! and she's got a few updates coming in the next year or two.

Robert's 70, recently rebuilt his motor, and looking to change his tranny....I may be biased, but I think the 70 is pretty'er !

My buddy Doug brought his rare Barracuda....he has 2 AMC's, neither of which have freeway gears....so I let it go.

O.K., this is where I geek'd out a little....16 Big Wings ! SIXTEEN ! I haven't seen more then 6 here, or anywhere for that matter ! I was talking to one of the owners, and he said there was supposed to be more then twice this many.... Jeez !

Amazing....

Beautiful....

Rare....

If only....

I might be a little partial to green, and I do love the 70 Roadrunners.

I only have room for 20 pix in each listing, and I took LOTS of pix, it's impossible to get anywhere near 1 row of cars in here, let alone 8+. And the 33 Plymouth was an Incredible build too.

John and Mark walked away with trophies ! and so did Doug with his Cuda. And my favorite Roadrunner say's Bye !
