Mopars in May

The weather pretty much made everyone bail on me, but I broke down on my way here last year, so I was going no matter what ! Well....rain would have stopped me....
I pre-reg'd last year, so I called this year to see if they had an AMC Class again, and they did.

They had about 170 cars here, it's open to all Mopars, so they had a few PT's, about 30 newer Challengers, a few newer Darts, and a couple Vans.

I've always loved the “Winged Warriors”, I'm partial to the SuperBird, but this was the only wing here, there wasn't even a 70 RoadRunner in the show, I was surprised. I did see this Daytona fly'n down the freeway about 6 years ago, I had Michael take pix of it as it passed us through Escondido.

I talked to this guy for awhile, he's in the “Wheels of Confusion” Van Club, I remember the club from the 70's & 80's when I was Vanning.

They had a nice showing of Challengers & Cudas.

And the new Challengers were in pockets all over the place.

This guy does this all over the place, it's certainly a crowd pleaser !

I got 1st Place AMC ! I new I would win it too ! I did have the Best AMC here ! I would have been pissed if they would have picked another car ! Because there weren't any !
