Coronado Speedfest

September 27, 2009

This place is “SO Cool”, We had 9 cars here, 7 AMX's, 1 Jav/AMX, and Stacy's Ambo Wagon. I am posting this on the second day of 2015, I was cleaning up my pc and found out I never added this to my site....

So, I don't remember who's Alamosa this is, I can only figure it's Hobie's, prior to it getting highlights. Next is John Caley's, Steve Fox's, El Prez Mark, Mine, John Sicily's, and Allen's.

Allen's 71 with Richard's 68 the row behind ours....Richard is always late, so he wasn't able to park next to us. I lost a lot of pix from the first few years, while learning what to do with them as far as sizing, and killing the originals because I thought it was too much to store....what a dumb ass....I also have taken very few pix of our club members, or much of anything besides our own cars, you will notice that till the mid teens. I did get some great shots, but you will notice a lot of the same cars everywhere. They are easy to speed thru though.

In later shots of speedfest, I took pix from the bleachers of our cars, I lost them, or did not do it this year, so here's a shot of the backside of our cars, minus Rich, who is behind me.

This car is absolutely Awesome ! My unbiased opinion, of course !

This is the owner driver, and at one time I had info from him....Great guy though, I remember that !

I did get 2 pix on the track, the other one not so good, this was during practice laps. The car sounded Great going by !

Allen & John, Allen loves these big bodies, and the RW&B paints, yea, he has the silver 71.

I kinda like the RW&B myself.

70, more to my liking ! Even in a Javelin !

All four of these cars where not on the track together for very long, they had a few issues. But they were the coolest cars while out there.

The story board for the 70.
