While at Wild Rides, the mobile DJ was giving invitations to selected cars for a show he was doing at Bayfair, the Jet Boat/Hydroplane races on Mission Bay. He invited all 3 of our AMX's, I guess I was the only one that signed up. Unfortunately for the DJ, he didn't get the word out soon enough, and I don't think he even got 50 cars, But he said they want him back next year....We will be there !

Cindy & I stopped at Jack's so I could get a quick burger on the way, pulling out, this Blue Classic rolls by ! He pulls over, says he was invited to a show and didn't remember where, it was the one we were going to, so he followed us in. His name is Frank, I think he said it was a 64 Classic, it's got some cool flames, but she has a bow tie heart....I can live with that, it's a good looking car !

Small show, it was $40, BUT, you get 2 wristbands, good for the shuttle that takes you around the races, the show is in one of the parking lots right on the bay, it's just for the show, plus you have access to the area by the pits ! Like I said, if he does this show again, We will be here !

This Cool New Yorker was pulling an even more Beautiful time period Family Cruiser !

Not sure if this Beauty sees water, but she sure is Purdy !

This Studebaker with matching trailer even has an Ice cream bike in the bed ! TOO COOL !

And this Big Bad International was the with them, the New Yorker was parked between these 2 when I got to the show, but it moved over to the show lot before I got the camera out. They were parked about a hundred yards over. I never met the owners, so I don't know if it's a family thing, one owner, or just a group of nostalgia owners....Very Cool Collection !

To the Races ! We took the shuttle to the Island they had the pits on, but I think I may have gotten better pix from where we were.

Plus this is my new camera, I still don't know all the settings. But when these Babys take off, they sound BITCHEN !

Coming back to the pits after a heat, and they sound like jet air craft....ooooh !

They crane these puppies so fast, it's amazing !

Pick'm up, hose'm down, rest'm till the next heat.

These guys were right in front of our parking area ! Sounded Awesome ! But it was a one boat show, it started as 4, one didn't make it off the line, another died 2 laps in, the 3rd had some fuel problems, and the leader just hauled A$$ the whole way.
