CG Car Craft Mag

We ended up with 7 cars here, it was supposed to be 9, but I'll take it ! Car Craft was at this show, so I tried to get as many AMC's as I could, hoping they would notice and include pix of our group in the issue it will be in....have to wait & see....(I took these pix with my phone, because I wasn't smart enough to bring my camera)

I was going to bring my AMX as well as my Machine, but she wasn't ready to come out and play yet, and before anyone thinks I actually have enough money for these 2 cars (I wish), my wife is all over me to sell one....we could actually use the money, and the deal was to sell the AMX when I found a Machine, but....fixing her up to sell took some time, and the joy of driving an AMX over the boat, was too much to give up.

Back to the show ! My Machine, Allens Beautiful RW&B 68 AMX, Dales Red 70 Donohue, Richards 68 AMX, and Doug & his son brought his Machine & SCRambler ! Hayes got there late with his Monster Black 68 AMX.

I worked it out with Steve Waldren so we could all park together, he puts on Cruisin' Grand, but people get testy when you save spots, so now there are a few hot rodders that don't say Hi anymore....I've helped Steve with this cruise when I can, so I don't feel bad about it.

Terry stopped by, his 70 Golden Lime AMX is in the shop, so he's a little bummed, and Dave also stopped by, he has a 68 Hialeah AMX & a Bittersweet Machine that has some race history, but being a Pontiac guy, we never see them.

O.K. I had to take pix of this, Our flag is one of the few things that still represent this Country....I wish washington still did.

It was a nice evening, kinda hot actually, most of us hung out at a bar on the corner, so we never did notice anyone stopping to take pix for the mag, I'll have to watch for the Oct or Nov Car Craft and see.

Oct. 3rd, the last Cruisin' Grand of the year was "Nitro Night", Steve, the guy that puts this on, asked me if I could help out, so I missed a lot that was going on. But I did get this shot in while I was parking people....my night shots of the flaming cars did not do so well....
