Burger Run

Our first Burger Run ! There were over 600 cars here, I'm adding this year to my site 5 years later, so It's a little sketchy. We ended up with 10 cars here, from left, Dave Chic, Mark Melvin, Stu Jackson, John Caley, Robert Martinez, Tom Delaney, Chuck Braddy, Randy Kirby. Mark brought the Club Banner.

Besides the 8 Club Members, this is where I met Stacy and his Beautiful 72 Ambo Wagon, the BBG 70 Javelin that parked with us was driven by another Randy, and believe it or not, was a buddy of the group I had in High School and years later, I was in Oregon for 7 years and he kind of took my place. The Jav was his Daughters and she let him take it, 2 years later she sold it and now it's owned by Jon Gardner, who cruise's with us when he can.

I seem to have lost a lot of pix through the years, most of this year was chopped, cropped, and reduced. I didn't know enough to save the whole file and I just kept our cars on most shows.

Tom lives a stones throw from this place, so he had a BBQ there right after the show, so Mark, Robert, Dave, John, and I followed Tom to his place. Marks grabbing a few pix there.

Tim Klienfelter showed up there also, he has the yellow 68 AMX shadow mask with a built 343 road race set up, I hear it's pretty fast.

Tom has the mold for the AMX/3, someday he plans on building one. All his time and money has gone into this, I hope his dream comes true some day.

These are two of his other cars he still has, 4 years after this show, Tom emailed me and said this blue car was the one I had years ago....I said sure it was....he said it was BBB when he got it, had a 390, 4spd, just not the same motor, the last owner blew it up....I said sure it was....then he sent me pix....IT WAS ! When I had it it didn't have stripes, so I bought a $2 pin stripe roll of red, white, & blue and did C stripes on it....That WAS my car ! How weird is that !
